Svenska Spel Sport & Casino take on Microgaming

The Swedish state owned Svenska Spel have reached an agreement with Microgaming to feature the Isle Of Man casino software company’s portfolio of game content on their site. Meaning players at Svenska Spel casino can now enjoy hundreds of innovative slot games such as Thunderstruck and Immortal Romance, which Microgaming have become renowned and famous for.

Svenska Spel is arguably the most popular online casino operating in Sweden and having been established back in 1997, has in excess of 20 years in providing a great online casino and sports betting environment for Swedes.

Likewise, Sweden is also an important marketplace for Microgaming, with several of their software licensees also have the appropriate gaming licence issued by Spelinspektionen, the Swedish gaming authority.

Andrew Clucas, the Chief Operating Officer at Microgaming, reaffirmed the importance of the Swedish market to Microgaming when commenting on the deal with Svenska Spel, by stating: “Svenska Spel Sport & Casino is a tremendous addition to our sizeable customer base in this key strategic market. We are pleased to welcome them to the Microgaming family and look forward to working with them closely after a successful integration.”

Likewise, Jonas Nygren VP casino of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, stated: “Microgaming is renowned for its portfolio of high quality, innovative content, and we are delighted to collaborate with them. The addition of Microgamings catalogue of entertaining games will enhance the overall gameplay experience for our players.”
