Lottery Jackpot Winner set to miss out on £1m Jackpot Prize
The owner of a National Lottery jackpot winning ticket is set to miss out on the £1m prize his or her ticket has won, as they have still not come forward within the required time limit to claim the prize.
The winning ticket which was purchased in Manchester, matched 5 balls plus the bonus ball in the draw held on 9th January 2019. The numbers in question being 3, 17, 36, 42, 51, 57 and the bonus ball 18.
Under National Lottery rules, owners of winning tickets have 6 months from the date of the draw to claim their prize, otherwise it is donated to good causes supported by the National Lottery. This means the owner of the £1m winning ticket has until the end of the working day tomorrow ( 8th July 2019 ) to lay claim to the seven figure sum.
There is also an unclaimed EuroMillions Prize of £1,000,000 which has still yet to be claimed, but the owner of this ticket has a bit more breathing space, as they have until the end of July to claim this prize.
