The largest payout of a casino jackpot has occurred in Spain, with a lucky player winning €1.5m playing the Playtech game Gladiator Road to Rome. The player was playing the popular progressive version of the ‘Gladiator Slot’ at Codere casino when the life changing jackpot amount was hit.
The payout of €1.5m blows away the previous record online win in Spain, which was a €130,000 win playing Playtech’s DC Superheroes, won in May earlier this year.
The win means that the Playtech progressive slot network has paid out jackpot amounts in excess of €7.3m since April 2015.
