Malta Gaming Awards

The Malta Gaming Awards were held last week alongside the annual Sigma iGaming Conference and SMP eGaming came away celebrating, after they landed the ‘East Meets West Consultancy of the Year’ award.

SMP eGaming fought off stiff competition from the likes of BDO and iGaming Asia who were among the world-class consultancy firms shortlisted for the award. SMP eGaming ultimately emerged as the winner thanks to its personable approach and commitment to building face-to-face relationships.

Ted Pepper, Managing Director at SMP eGaming, said: “We are thrilled to have taken home the award for East Meets West Consultancy of the Year and receive recognition for the work we have done with Asian businesses internationally over the past 12 months.”

“Asia is a diverse and complex market, and we are pleased to be able to use our decade of experience in the industry to assist operators and developers entering and working in the region.”

“Of course, we can do this for all markets that organisations wish to enter and have helped countless operators and suppliers launch global businesses that have achieved great success.”

The award that would likely pique players interest was the ‘Slot Game of the Year’ which went to Wazdan and their slot machine game Larry the Leprechaun which was released in the summer. Larry the Leprechaun features stunning 3D graphics and animations, which has gone done a storm with players.
