Microgaming have announced the release of a new Asian inspired slot machine game, with Long Mu Fortunes being released. Developed exclusively for Microgaming by Fortune Factory Studios, Long Mu Fortunes is available to play now at all Microgaming casinos.
Using the same game engine as several other slot games that Fortune Factory Studios have developed in the past, Long Mu Fortunes has a reported RTP of 96.44%, and plays over 5 reels, 3 rows and features 10 paylines in play.
It looks quite good and is a high variance slot, but to be brutally honest this slot doesn’t really stand out from the crowd and is more a ‘game filler’ to increase the number of slot games among Microgaming’s portfolio of content.
What would be good is if slot game developers come up with more innovative creations, that will really whet players’ appetite for the games. Microgaming used to be one of the industry leaders when it came to game content development, but alas the days of the likes of Thunderstruck 2 and Immortal Romance, seem to be a distant memory. When Microgaming were really pushing the envelope when it came to the creation of new immersive slot game content.
However, when all said and done, no doubt Long Mu Fortunes will appeal to a section of slot players and thus does allow MGS to boast about the number of games they have in their armoury, by increasing the numbers.
