Ladbrokes Coral Partners introduce Retroactive Affiliate Terms
Ladbrokes Coral, which run their own separately branded online casino and online sportsbook products and which form part of the GVC Holdings Group, have wished their affiliate partners a ‘Happy New Year’, by way of introducing punitive retroactive player quotas to their affiliate program.
In an update to the ‘terms and conditions’ applied retroactively to the Ladbrokes Coral Partners affiliate programme, which is used to promote both the Ladbrokes and Coral brands online, new player quotas have been introduced, which seemingly affiliates of Ladbrokes Coral Partners have to take on the chin.
The new changes which will take affect from the 1st February 2020, state that: “If you are inactive for a period of 60 consecutive days we reserve the right to reduce your Referral Commission for the remainder of the Term to either the default Commission Plan or to 10% of Net Revenue.”
Ladbrokes before they merged with Coral and long before they were acquired by GVC Holdings, have somewhat of a chequered past when it comes to operating affiliate programs for the variety of iGaming products that they offer their customers.
Indeed a few years back, when the programme was known as Score, Ladbrokes unceremoniously closed down the accounts of the majority of their US based affiliate partners.
