ICE North America is a new event which first featured at the Boston Convention Exhibition Center in May 2019, taking the strengths of GiGse and ICE Sports Betting USA conferences and consolidating them into a single event.
Upon announcing the decision to combine both events and in turn create ICE North America, Kate Chambers the Managing Director of Clarion Gaming who organise the show said: “ICE North America, the first edition of which will take place in May 2019, very close to the dates traditionally occupied by GiGse, is a response to this key objective and will provide a trusted, blue chip business opportunity for the interactive gaming sector across the continent of North America.”
“The ICE brand is synonymous with quality and we will be bringing the same levels of professionalism, organization, commitment and insight experienced by our stakeholders at ICE London to the North American facing interactive gaming community. The key gaming verticals we are targeting with ICE North America comprise Sports Betting, I-Lottery, eSports as well as the Affiliate market.”
The move was welcomed by the industry with Scientific Games Senior Vice President Keith O’Loughlin, said of the decision by Clarion Gaming: “Combining GiGse and ICE Sports Betting USA marks a new era for gaming, sports, and lottery providers. Especially given the potential of the U.S. sports betting market, ICE North America will be a massively impactful event.”
With over 200 speakers during the 2019 show, it is expected that the 2020 ICE North America will be even bigger, with it taking place in Austin, Texas USA.
