NetEnt opens new London Office
Swedish gaming giants, NetEnt, have opened new offices in London, to help enable the company cope with the increased growth they are experiencing in the UK market. The offices which are based in the Stanley Building at King Cross, will enable the company to offer a local presence and provide better support to their UK operators, who showcase their casino games.
With the UK becoming more and more an important market for NetEnt, the opening of the offices in London make perfect sense for the game developer. The new NetEnt offices were opened by their UK Managing Director, Andy Whitworth, alongside NetEnt’s Director of Platform Products & Services, Rob Fell.
Commenting on the opening of their new London office, Andy Whitworth commented: “We are delighted to be open for business in the UK. We need a local presence to better support our valued customers and grow our market share. We have already recruited some key talent and now we begin a period of recruitment for the second wave.”
Meanwhile NetEnt’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Therese Hillman, said: “This is a natural next step and an example of our commitment to the local market. The UK is already our largest market, and we see a short-term opportunity to grow our market share by being closer to our UK based customers. Our increased UK presence is one of the NetEnt Group’s key strategic initiatives this year.”
