Big Time Gaming to Debut Megaquads Game Engine

New game will go live with Flutter Entertainment brands on September 23rd, MegaQuadsTM available across OPENGAMINGTM network one week later

Australian developer Big Time Gaming (BTG) will unveil its highly anticipated Megaquads™ mechanic this September with the launch of brand-new game Slot Vegas Megaquads™.

Going live September 23rd exclusively with the Flutter Entertainment brands via Scientific Games’ OpenGamingTM ecosystem, the Megaquads™ engine promises quadruple the thrills – with four sets of reels running simultaneously, all set against a cool, retro Las Vegas backdrop.

Richard Marquis at Flutter Entertainment said: “It’s great to be first into the market with anything BTG related, especially when it’s a new gaming engine. We’re huge fans of their work and so are our customers, and Slot Vegas Megaquads™ has all the hallmarks of a hit.”

One week later, Slot Vegas Megaquads™ will be available across Scientific Games’ entire OpenGamingTM  network.

Megaquads™ builds on recent ground-breaking technology from BTG, like the game changing Megaways™ and Megaclusters™ engines, to provide the very latest in quadrilateral gaming entertainment, with enticing wins.

How big are those wins? Well, keep your eye on the four symbol multiplier counters to the left of the screen, which increase by one every time you land a four-of-a-kind premium symbol. Even better, when the free spins are triggered, all four multipliers combine to create a win multiplier for the player.

Meanwhile, in the base game, each of the four Megaquads™ reel sets offer 256 ways to win, that can lead to a massive 65,536 ways to win. The player will always have access to responsible gaming tools to reduce the intensity of play and manage length of game play.

The theme may be retro, but once again BTG have dared to imagine the future of gaming – and the future’s quadrangular!

BTG CEO Nick Robinson said: “The Megaquads™ engine is the latest phase in our mission to reimagine the slot machine in exciting new ways, using technology that increases engagement and sets new standards for the industry.”

“The pace of innovation at BTG has been nothing short of miraculous over the past few years, and that’s a testament to the hard work and ingenuity of my team. Slot Vegas demonstrates the breath-taking excitement the Megaquads™ mechanic can bring to the slots experience.”

Dylan Slaney, SVP Gaming, Digital at Scientific Games said: “We’re thrilled to bring the exciting MegaQuadsTM feature to our OpenGaming™ players in partnership with BTG.”

“Our partnership with BTG grows from strength to strength with their ongoing innovation focused on gameplay and pure entertainment powered by our truly open gaming platform.”

“Together we remain committed to driving breakthrough gaming experiences for players in regulated markets across the globe.”
